Our Guide biscuits are now better than ever after extensive quality testing done by the best biccie experts in New Zealand – our girls! Leaders and girls worked closely with Griffins to ensure the recipe, shape, colour, texture and packaging is up to standard, and the verdict was unanimous – not a crumb left in sight!

Our Original Guide biscuits
are great as a morning or afternoon tea snack, dunked in tea or coffee, as an after dinner treat or used in home baking. Still popular after over 50 years of production, the Original Guide biscuits are a favourite all around New Zealand.

A new flavor to hit the shelves in recent years, our Chocolate variety adds that little bit of indulgence to the Original Guide biscuit. Dip them in your coffee or hot cocoa for a gooey, chocolatey treat, or sandwich them around icecream or toasted marshmallows to make delicious s’mores!

Guide biscuits are a versatile ingredient for a range of home baking including slices, cheesecakes, fudge cakes, truffles and pies. They’re perfect for keeping in the kitchen if you need to whip up a quick, easy treat for the kids or guests – download some of our recipes for inspiration!

Crush the biscuits roughly into a food processor, then process in short bursts until finely crumbed.
Melt the butter in a small pot or microwave bowl, then add to the biscuits and mix well. Press the biscuit mixture into a baking paper lined 20cm square tin, then pour in the condensed milk.
Bake at 160 C for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set in the middle. Remove from the oven, leave to stand until cool then remove from the tin and cut into fingers.

Melt butter and mix with the crushed biscuits. Press mixture into a 23cm foil-lined pie plate to form your shell. Chill in fridge.
Meanwhile, beat cream cheese until soft, gradually add the condensed milk, dissolve gelatine in hot water, add to the mixture with the lemon juice and mix well. Pour filling into the chilled pie shell.
Refrigerate until set and ready to serve. Can be decorated with fresh or tinned fruit if desired. Serves 6.>
